Ring-tailed lemurs (MAKY) have been always the symbol of Madagascar's unique wildlife because of their strikingly pretty allure.

Sapphire (SAFIRA) was a semi-albino ring-tailed lemur who existed only once.   Its dramatic short life in the wild is documented in a movie titled "A tale of lemur."
